This course is for people looking to renew a CISRS Scaffolder Supervisor Card

This course is for Scaffolding Supervisors who need to renew their CISRS card. The Scaffolding CISRS Supervisors Card needs to be renewed every five years. You are required to complete a two-day refresher course prior to renewing card.

This course aims to review the core management skills you need to effectively supervise scaffolding operations. General responsibilities Delivery of safety “toolbox talk” Relevant regulations and Codes of Practice NASC Guidance Notes TG20 -Overview Work at Height, SG4 & Rescue – Overview Scaffold Inspection & Handover BSEN 13374 – Overview BS 5975:2008 Temporary Works Procedures Risk assessment & Method Statement (including practical exercise) Manual handling in the scaffolding industry RIDDOR and Accident Reporting (including practical exercise) Behavioural safety overview A combination of case studies, course projects and presentations.

You will be continually assessed and complete a multiple-choice test

CISRS Supervisor Card and certificate.

Delegates wishing to book one of these courses will be required to have the CITB Health, safety and environment (HS&E) Supervisors test (or accepted exemption) in place at the time of booking. The CITB Health, safety and environment (HS&E) Supervisors test (or accepted exemption) needs to have been passed within the previous 23 months before the course start date. Delegates must also have held the CISRS Supervisor Card previously for access to the course.
